We were recently asked to fabricate a custom lifting device for an assembly plant, and our fabrication shop delivered a beautiful finished part that worked perfectly.

In this application, as you can see from the photo below, it was important to lift the tractor evenly. Thanks to an adjustable “pick point” that could account for various centers-of-gravity, this device could be set up on the fly to lift just about any size or shape of tractor.

In order to fabricate this device, our team had to first reverse-engineer an existing lifting harness. Using the SolidWorks design tool, we were able to create a 3D model of the final parts and assembly prior to production. This allowed us to make sure that the device would perform as desired for our client.
