An important aspect of a fabricator’s job is to look for ways to make their job easier! That’s why we encourage our technicians to get creative when it comes to making custom jigs and fixtures that will help them work more quickly and accurately.

Here’s an example of a fixture that we made that makes it easy and fast to glue rubber bumpers onto an engine mount assembly that we fabricate in bulk for one of our clients. This fixture holds the engine mount in place, and also holds the glue bottle in place. With one quick squeeze, a perfect drop of glue is applied and the bumper can be secured into place. It even includes two glue stations that allow for extra-quick assembly of these parts.
