Welder/Fabricator

We’re growing and looking to expand our team of Welder/Fabricators. So, whether you’re just starting out or you’re already an experienced welder, we want to hear from you!

As a SPEC FAB welder, you’ll work from drawings, engineering specifications, sketches, verbal instructions and other data to build a variety of parts, components and complete assemblies for our clients. We offer a dynamic production environment where you’ll build various quantities of parts, both large and small, for all types of clients.

Our welders work closely with our Shop Manager, Engineers and Customers to build projects, create fixtures, and complete work that maintains the required quality standards. That means attention to detail and good communication skills are a must!

Qualifications:

• Experience with MIG and TIG welding, or an interest in learning
• Experience welding steel, aluminum and stainless
• Experience building welded components and assemblies
• Experience fabricating small and large components
• Ability to interpret and follow shop drawings
• Ability to read a tape measure, count and tag parts, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to create jigs and fixtures as needed
• Ability to follow shop safety guidelines
• Ability to maintain equipment as needed
• Knowledge of metal fabrication and welding best practices
• Knowledge of quality best practices for welding and fabrication
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with our team and clients
• High school diploma or equivalent

This is a full-time position with an hourly rate based on experience and ability, plus paid vacation and other generous benefits.
